Hey and welcome to our new blog and website. We are excited about our new website and we hope that you enjoy it as well.
We originally started our blog when we first became missionaries about six years ago. We created it to share updates with family, friends, and supporters. And epsecially share pictures of our kids growing up overseas. It was a lot easier to blog when I had kids that that liked to have their pictures taken. But now that they are older and starting college, it's going to be harder to get updates from them. I will try my best though.
We will use this blog to do ministry updates and a few family updates as well. You will see posts from me, Susan, as well as Shannon. We can't promise you that all our grammer will be correct or even our spelling for that matter, but we would love to share our lives with you.
Just to give you a quick update, I'm currently in the states recovering from foot surgery, and Shannon is in Ecuador getting ready for a summer full of teams. I'm glad to have the extra time with the kids but I will miss being with Shannon and working with teams this summer. Please keep us in your prayers during this time because we have never been apart for this amount of time. Even though it may be hard, God has a plan, and His plan is always better than our plan.
Here's a picture from the worksite that Shannon will be working at all summer.
