The first team of the summer returned to AR on Saturday. Preparing for teams by myself was very challenging but I made it, but it would be so much better if Susan was here. Mickey T Daniels, a great frined and fellow missionary came and helped me for the week and I greatly appreciate him. We had a great time with Searcy Life Fellowship and Marion 1st. The Doans are great friends and they are serving at great churches. These people worked in the rain, in the strong sunlight, strong winds and never once complained about anything. I know that there were times when they may have not been so sure about the situation but they did it anyway. I am greatful for churches like this. They come in with an open mind and are willing to do anything for one week. Even eat guinea pig in front of the Quichua congregation that just prepared it over an open fire.
We got alot accomplised during their time here. We laid over 2000 cement blocks with precision. Walls, windows and doors were laid out and almost completed. Thank your for your sacrifice and willingness to come and invest in the lives of this Unreached People Group. You have made a difference.
Next week, team 2 will arrive and we will complete the walls and begin the roof before we move on to the next phase of this project. Blessings and there is #hopeforthehighlands
